With 18 pairs of Tieks and counting in my collection, it’s safe to say that I’m a huge fan of one of the most recognizable ballet flats on the planet. I truly wear them just about every day. I often get asked if Tieks are appropriate for work and my answer is always, heck yes they are! Tieks are totally my go-to shoes for work!
Here are 6 reasons why I think Tieks are the perfect shoes for work.
1. Tieks are extremely versatile. From business formal to casual Fridays, Tieks are appropriate for any office environment. Obsidian Black, Brentwood and Rosé are a few classic neutrals that are perfect to wear with more traditional office attire, but even pops of color like Fuchsia, Ruby Red or Electric Snake can still look professional and polished when styled appropriately.
2. Tieks are super comfy for daily wear. I used to love wearing heels or wedges to work and, surprisingly, rarely wore flats. However, several years ago I developed plantar fasciitis and had no choice but to search for alternative footwear options. I found some relief wearing flats, but it wasn’t until I found Tieks that my feet were finally pain free in shoes all day at work! No more kicking off my shoes as soon as I walk in the door when I get home from work. My Tieks are seriously so comfy that I sometimes forget I’m even wearing them!
3. Tieks are the perfect shoe to wear at conferences. I attend several conferences throughout the year for my job. I work at our booth, meeting rooms, and client events, which entails standing long hours on my feet - sometimes for a few days at a time. I used to dread working conferences because I knew my feet would be in excruciating pain by the end of the day. After discovering Tieks, I don’t stress about working conferences anymore. I know my Tieks will keep my feet comfy and pain free all day long!
4. Tieks are great for business travel. Not only will Tieks keep your feet comfy while traveling, but since they are foldable and compact, Tieks won’t take up too much precious space in your luggage. I also love the little travel pouches that come with Tieks! I use them to store my folded Tieks for packing so I don’t have to worry about the soles touching other items in my suitcase and getting them dirty. If you wear heels, the storage pouch makes it easy to throw a pair of Tieks into your purse so you have something classy and comfy to change into when your heels start killing your feet!
5. Tieks are conversation starters. Whether in a meeting, around the office, or at a conference, someone inevitably recognizes that iconic blue sole. I get approached about my Tieks a lot and it’s such a great way to start conversations with people and make connections. Just so you know, some of us crazy Tieks addicts may even shout “Tieks in the Wild” if we spot a fellow Tieks lover wearing their Tieks! Yes, this is actually a thing lol! But don’t worry too much - I may not actually shout at you, but I WILL tell you how much I love your great taste in shoes!
6. Tieks are just fun! Since Tieks come in so many different colors and patterns, it’s super easy to find the perfect pair to go with any outfit. I always feel polished and stylish when wearing my Tieks.
