Mother’s Day is very special for me. Not only am I a mom to the best son, but I’m lucky enough to have two mom’s I get to celebrate on Mother’s Day; my mom and my step-mom, or who I like to call my bonus mom. Not only are they two amazing women that I love, but they are also friends and hang out together on their own. I’m so lucky to have a happily, blended family where I can spend holidays with everyone altogether and never have to choose one over the other. It’s a true testament to my two moms and how amazing they are.
Another reason I love Mother’s Day is that my hubby proposed to me on Mother’s Day. His mom passed away before we met and they were very close. Proposing to me on Mother’s Day was his way of incorporating her and turning what was a sad reminder of her absence into a happy celebration. I never got to meet her, but I always feel most connected to her on Mother’s Day and know that she’s celebrating with us in spirit.

It’s collapsible for easy storage, yet sturdy enough to haul all your stuff! It came in so many different patterns/colors that I had a hard time picking the perfect one, but I love this gray quatrefoil pattern I ended up with. My kitty approves of it too! She jumps in it, every time I turn my back! Lol!
